What if you had to dress a certain way to drop off, pick up or visit your child at school?
A member of Broward County’s school board would like to implement a policy for parent’s in Florida Ft. Lauderdale area.
Dr. Rosalind Osgood, according to ABCNews.com, said that “a lot of parents have to run to schools quickly – some still have on their pajamas! They have hair curlers in, it’s just inappropriate. Parents have to lead by example.”
The school board member hopes that the dress code encourages some parents to think twice about what they wear to their kids’ schools and added that poorly dressed parents make kids feel “uncomfortable.”
So, what do you think?
Personally, you should always go out some-what presentable but if it is a true emergency at your kids school are you really going to stop and check your clothes?
With that being said it could be something that other states and school boards look into doing themselves for the parents who come in obscene clothing.
Or is the school board going too far?
Take the poll and weigh in.
